Terra Spark is looking for a detail-oriented Sustainability & Environment Analyst Intern to join our Product Development and Sustainability Team in Faisalabad, Pakistan.
This internship is an opportunity for students and fresh graduates to gain hands-on experience in the growing field of climate technology. The selected candidate will work closely with our engineering team to support the development of a scientifically accurate carbon calculator dashboard.

Job Title: Sustainability & Environment Analyst Intern

Role Overview
The intern will serve as a domain expert and help translate environmental concepts, carbon accounting methods, and emission data into practical workflows for software developers. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about sustainability, climate tech, and environmental innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Sourcing: Research and compile Pakistan-specific emission factors, including grid emission factors, transport averages, and industrial benchmarks.
- Carbon Modeling: Support the mapping of emission sources into Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 categories based on the GHG Protocol.
- Technical Translation: Work with the UI/UX and development teams to design simple data-entry flows for non-expert users.
- Compliance Research: Monitor relevant local and international environmental regulations.
- Quality Assurance: Review the backend logic of the carbon calculator to ensure accuracy before implementation.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Education: Final-year student or fresh graduate in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Energy Systems, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and pivot tables.
- Domain Knowledge: Basic understanding of Life Cycle Assessment, carbon footprinting, and ISO 14064.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to handle incomplete datasets and identify reliable local data proxies.
- Communication: Good English and Urdu communication skills.
