Federal Minister Inaugurates International Fashion Tourism Festival 2026
Islamabad, February 16, 2026 — Aurangzeb Khan Khichi, Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture Division, officially inaugurated the Isloo International Fashion Tourism Festival 2026 at the SilkRoad Culture Centre. The ceremony marked the unveiling of the festival’s official logo, symbolizing a blend of growth, vitality, and innovation.
Speaking at the event, the Minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to fostering young talent and promoting Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage on a global platform. He emphasized that the festival would serve as a vital medium for showcasing traditional provincial attires—with a special focus on Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir—to the international community.
The event was attended by various ambassadors, including the Ambassador of Azerbaijan, and distinguished guests from the media and fashion industries. This initiative is a significant step toward boosting fashion tourism and providing a platform for the youth to showcase their skills through modern and creative approaches.
